Warm'nComfrey, the salve delivering Comfrey Root & Leaf in an infusion of Sunflower Oil. Coriander Seed is a welcome addition in Sunflower Oil to complete the recipe. These Herbs are well known in folk medicine, with the purported benefit of helping, offering a healing-hand in treating injury. Comfrey is also known as "knit bone" and is believed to be effective as the name implies. This is due to the chemical components in the plant that are referred to in several published reports. Comfrey isn't recommended for open wounds, as any bacteria in the injury could be sealed in. Review literature on Comfrey, see if it's a good addition to your household answers for the dings and bumps/bruises we acquire that inconvenience our lifestyle. Coriander Seed was selected as the base compliment as it is considered a good source of antioxidants, complexion-friendly minerals and skin boosting vitamin C. It’s also reported to be a strong anti-bacterial, antiseptic, anti-fungal, disinfectant, detoxifier and anti-inflammatory. My goal was the creation of a Comfrey Salve that held plant-based anti-bacterial properties, so that cuts and abrasions, injury that is inflamed causing pain could be helped even further. People who use this product have found relief for shoulder injury, aching feet, burns, bruising, sprains, life's boo-boo's.
Of course it's great to have a salve for injury, but we also have to consider the health of our skin, it's why I selected Sunflower, Yellow Beeswax, Shea Butter and Virgin Coconut Oil to nourish our skin as it heals.
It's clear that this salve is already a plant-based helper, but I've added 8 different 100% Pure Essential Oils to deliver a desired result of warming, relaxing, and inflammation relieving as we take the knocks in life. :)
